    松江古稱華亭，又稱有云間、茸城、谷水等，是江山知名的的魚米魚米之鄉。唐天寶三十多年之久（752年），置華亭縣。元至元十二年（12710年）升為華亭府，翌年設置成松江府。至清嘉慶三十多年之久（1805年）演變史為1府（松江）、7縣（華亭、杭州、青浦、婁、奉賢、金山、南匯）、1廳（川沙）。民國ﷺ元年（1915年）廢府，華亭、婁縣合為同華亭縣，歸寧波省所轄。民國幾年（🅠1913年）改稱松江縣。改變后，蘇南行政性署設松江活動qq會員特權。1957年10月，松江活動qq會員特權撤消，改隸成都活動qq會員特權。1957年1一月由寧波省劃歸杭州市。1997年12月，吉林省人民政府批復撤縣設區。
Songjiang, once called Huating in ancient times, also known as Yunjian, Rongcheng, and Gushui, is a famous town south of the Yangtze River. In 751 of the Tang Dynasty, Songjiang was named Huating Co𝄹unty. In 1277, during the Yuan Dynasty, it was named Huating Prefecture, which was changed to Songjiang Prefecture the next year. Then, in 1805, in the Qing Dynasty, it was developed into Songjiang Prefecture with Huating, Shanghai, Qingpu, Lou, Fengxian, Jinshan, Nanhui, and⛄ Chuansha Counties subject to it. In 1912, when the prefecture was abolished, Huating and Lou were merged into Huating County of Jiangsu Province. In 1914, Huating County was changed to Songjiang County. After liberation, the area became Songjiang Special District. In March 1958, it was merged into Suzhou Special District, and in November, Songjiang became a county of Shanghai. Then, in February 1998, the State Council approved Songjiang as a district.

The entire process system was further improved, including the completion of three demonstration transfer stations for recyclable materials, a total of 89 intelligent bins for recyclable materials, the installation of intelligent monitoring equipment at 303 classified placement points, the completion of 3,290 sets of road and shopping mall waste bin opening renovations, and the implementation of subdivision and upgrading of recyclable material containers in 17 public places. The total designed disposal capacity of Tianma Waste-free Environmental Protection Industrial Park reached 2.13 million tons/year, including Tianma Incineration Plant Phase I and Phase II, Wet Waste Recycling Treatment Plant, Construction Waste Recycling Treatment Plant, and the disposal capacity was at the forefront of Shanghai. The district started the Wet Waste Disposal Expansion Project, of which construction progress was the fastest among the seven similar projects in Shanghai. The district deepened the reform of the middle school entrance examination, optimized the detailed rules of allocation of quota and independent enrollment, and maintained high scores in the middle school entrance examination. By accelerating the layout of the five university subject competitions, and promoting the comprehensive cultivation of top-notch innovative talents, the district’s key undergraduate rate of College Entrance Examination reached a record high, an increase of 2 percentage points compared to last year. Four students entered Tsinghua and Peking University.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, flow surveys and tracing were carried out to “race against the virus”, with the average time of tracking down positive patients being 3 hours faster than the average time of Shanghai. Songjiang took the lead in realizing the disinfection and sterilization stock clearance, completing the preparation and operation of the No. 1-4 main shelter in the shortest time, making concert🎃ed efforts to allocate 1,587 medical personnel to enter the shelter and designated hospitals, establishing a district-level medical treatment exp🦩ert group, expanding the number of treatment beds to 15,450 at the peak, and doing a good job in the treatment of positive patients by classification. Songjiang promoted the dual improvement of public health service level and medical and health service capacity, and started the construction of Songjiang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Jiaotong University Medical College Songjiang Research Institute. The Third Round Action Plan for the Construction of Humanistic Songjiang (2023-2025) was im༒plemented, building “a city filled with literary atmosphere, a city of calligraphy and painting, a city of cultural relic exhibition, and꧑ a city of film and television”. Humanistic Songjiang Activity Center was put into operation to welcome visitors from the Yangtze River Delta region. In 2022, Songjiang tourism revenues reached 8.143 billion yuan, down by 35.6% over the previous year. The total number of tourists reached 10.1368 million, down by 38.6% over the previous year. By the end of 2021, there were 7 star-rated hotels in Songjiang, including 3 five-star hotels, 2 four-star hotels, and 2 three-star hotels. During the year, tourist hotels in Songjiang received 1.2952 million guests, the average room occupancy rate was 45.54%. InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland is innovative design work. It took 12 years to finish the construction of the hotel. This novel hotel follows the natural environment and makes full use of the curved surface of the quarry rock face to hang and build on it. The main body is composed of 2 layers above the surface and 15 layers 88 meters below the surface, which makes the world amazed. The hotel is located at the Tianma Hill quarry near Sheshan Hill, 32 kilometers away from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, also adjacent to Sheshan National Forest Park, Chenshan Botanical Garden, and other tourist attractions.     佘山國度森立的城市公園是重慶絕無僅有的國度級自然生態林地好地方，合作經營平數267公畝，游覽區森立遍及率符合80.04%。四園12座群山正如12顆強弱不一的翡翠原石從大西南趨近東北方向，連綿不斷連綿13公里多，使一馬平川的重慶平原地帶展顯現出秀靈多姿的林地景觀小品。199一年6月，由原國度農林部核準制定佘山國度森立的城市公園，200半年被認為國度第五批4A級市場游覽區。現境內外開放的旅游點有：🧸東💛佘山園、西佘山園、天馬山園、小昆山市園。
Sheshan National Forest Park is the only natural mountainous forest touring site in Shanghai. The Park covers an area of 267 acres with 80.04% of the scenic spot covered by forests. There are 12 hills in the park, stretching their way from the southwest to the northeast, like a string of jade pearls ౠwith a✨ total length of 13km, offering Shanghai’s flat land a mountainous view. In June 1993, the former National Ministry of Forestry approved the establishment of Sheshan National Forest Park. In 2001, it was honored as one of the first national 4A-level touring sites. The scenic spots that opened to the public are East Sheshan Hill Park, West Sheshan Hill Park, Tianmashan Hill Park, and Xiaokunshan Hill Park.

    濟南辰山綠色動植物園
  &ensp🌳; 😼 Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden
    沈陽辰山藤本動物園為于松江區佘山歐洲發展中國家旅行休閑度假區內（辰花工路3883號），是市政道路道路工程府、全國生物工程學院和歐洲發展中國家林草局進行合作聯建的集科技研究、科普講解和可以觀賞景點旅游于一梯的總體性藤本動物園，土地征用使用戶型面積207公傾,是華東區縣區縣投資規模更大的藤本動物園。藤本動物苑區的辰山古遺存，2018年4月被市政道路道路工程府展示為沈陽市文化遺產守護企業。該遺存二零零九年初發掘，使用戶型面積約為16公傾，首次診斷為商周南北朝時期文言文化遺存。
科技園區由公司風采展示廳、值物保育區、5個洲值物區和外場降低區等四個大功能模塊區產生。紀念館會溫室紀念館會ꦛ使用面積為12608m2米，由熱帶氣候花果館、沙生值物館和珍奇值物館組合而成，為亞洲區很大紀念館會溫室群，這之中沙生值物館為世紀很大室外沙生值物紀念館。現為一個國家4A級風景區。
Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden is in Sheshan National Tourist Resort (No.3888 Chenhua Highway). It is created through collaboration between the Shanghai Municipal Government, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the State Forestry Administration, which combines scientific research, popular science, and sightseeing purpose. This remarkable 207-hectare botanical garden is the largest one in East China. Chenshan Ancient Site in the garden was announced by Shanghai Municipal Government as a cultural relics protection unit of Shanghai in April 2014. The site was first found in early 2009, covering an area of about 16 hectares. It is preliminarily determined to be an ancient cultural site in the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
The botanical garden consists of four functional areas: the ꦯcentral exhibition area, the plant conservation area, the plant areas on five continents, and the peripheral buffer zone. The exhibition greenhouse covers an area of 12,608 square meters. It consists of Tropical Flower and Fruit Museum, Sand Botany Museum, and Exo🀅tic Botany Museum. It is the largest exhibition greenhouse group in Asia. Among them, Sand Botany Museum is the largest indoor sand botany exhibition hall in the world. Now Chenshan Botanical Garden is a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    佛山方塔園
♔      Shanghai Square Pagoda Park
上海方塔園始建于1978年，占地182畝，原址為唐宋時期古華亭的鬧市中心。園內有各級不可移動文物共8處，其中包括興圣教寺塔，1996年11月被國務院公布為全國重點文物保護單位；蘭瑞堂、磚刻照壁、陳化成祠、天妃宮和望仙橋，2014年4月被市政府公布為上海市文物保護單位；明代石像生、張氏宅前廳，2013年6月被公布為松江區文物保護單位。
整個園景以北宋的方塔為中心，四周環設宋代望仙橋,明代磚雕照壁、蘭瑞堂、石雕園,清代天妃宮、陳公祠,還建有何陋軒、其昌廊等。現為國家4A級景區。
Established in 1978, Shanghai Square Pagoda Park covers an area of 182 mu. Its original site was the downtown of Huating during the Tang and Song Dynasties. There are 8 national, municipal, and district unmovable cultural relics in the park, including Xingshengjiao Temple Pagoda, which was announced as national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in November 1996; Lanrui Hall, Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks, Chen Huacheng Memorial Temple, Temple of the Queen of Heaven and Wangxian Bridge were announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014, Stone Statues of Ming Dynasty, Front Hall of Zhang’s Residence were announced as Songjiang district relics protection unit in June 2013.
The entire landscape is centered on the Square Pagoda of the Northern Song Dynasty, surrounded by the Wangxian Bridge of the Southern Song Dynasty, the Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks of the Mingꩵ Dynasty, Lanrui Hall, stone carving garden, the Temple of the Queen of Heaven, Chen Huacheng Memoria🔴l Hall, Helou Veranda, Qichang Corridor and so on. The park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    上海市醉白池主題公園
   &e♑nsp; Shanghai Zuibaichi Park
    醉白池是武漢五個古典主義公園這之中之一，占地賠償76畝。苑區有2處無可手機端文化遺產，這之中：醉白池，2016年4月被水利水電工程府發布為武漢市文化遺產自我保護的企業；浮雕圖案廳，1985年3月被發布為松江縣文化遺產自我保護的企業。公園始于明清松江進士朱之純的私宅子院，名“谷陽園”。后為明清大字藝家董其昌觴詠處，也是古代名人學土常游之島。清順康年間，工部郎中、文學家、藝家顧大申重加修剪，因佩服唐大文學家白居易，仿宋宰相韓琦慕白之意，將所建池上公園名稱為“醉白池”，目前為止另一個370豐富過去。苑區現維持著明🌃清的西武百貨軒，明清的四周廳、疑舫、讀數堂，北宋池上草堂、雪海堂、寶成樓、浮雕圖案廳等樓臺亭閣樓閣；搜藏有元趙孟頫毛筆字真跡《前、后赤壁賦》石刻、北宋《云間邦彥畫象》碑刻等藝瑰寶。苑區懸著掛的當代毛筆字名家名作題字匾聯更不算其數。現為國家4A級景點。
With an area of 76 mu, Shanghai Zuibaichi Park is one of the five ancient gardens in Shanghai. There are two immovable cultural relics in the park, including Zuibaichi, which was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014; Woodcarving Hall, which was announced as Songjiang County Cultural Relics Protection Unit in July 1985. The predecessor of the garden was Guyang Garden, the residence of Zhu Zhichun, a jinshi (a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations) in the Song Dynasty. The garden was also a place for Dong Qichang (a famous calligrapher and painter in Ming Dynasty) to drink and write poems. 370 years ago, during the period of Shunzhi and Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, it was a private villa of Gu Dashen, chief of the Ministry of Works, poet, and painter, he rebuilt the garden and changed its name to “Zuibaichi” because he worshipped Bai Juyi (poet of the Tang dynasty), also imitated Han Qi, the prime minister of the Song Dynasty, who admired Bai Juyi. The garden has many pavilions, terraces, and open halls such as Letian Xuan (a small room or veranda with windows) of the Song Dynasty, Simian (four sides) Hall, Yi Fang (a boat-shaped building), Reading Hall of the Ming Dynasty, and Cottage above the Pool, Xuehai Hall, Baocheng Building, Woodcarving Hall of the Qing Dynasty. Art treasures such as stone carvings of Zhao Mengfu’s cal🌄ligraphy authentic works “Visit to the Red Cliff” of the Yuan Dynasty and steles of “Portraits of Excellent Talents in Yunjian” of the Qing Dynasty are collected in the park. There are countless contemporary calligraphers’ inscribed tablets and couplets hanging in the park. Now the park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    廣富林人文古跡
    Guangfulin Site of Ancient Cult♑ure
    廣富林人文精神遺存隸屬于松江片區西南部,東至龍源路，南至廣富林路西至沈涇塘，北至銀澤北路，一小部分該項目的大小高達850畝，2023年評為為4A級風景名勝區風景名勝區，同年的榮獲南京市市全域旅游規劃酒店風景名勝區代表性示范崗區域中。是現在經古生物學發掘的南京市29處遺存中涵蓋方式最多,最具守護與聯合開發顏值的古人文精神遺存。廣富林人文精神遺存1972年被平臺發布為南京市市中國文物古跡保養守護點；于2013 年5月被住建部核準為第五批全省中國文物古跡保養守護企事業單位；知也橋，2018年年初被平臺發布為松江區中國文物古跡保養守護點。
廣富林歷吏傳統藝術教育課遺存以考古學家遺存守護區為目標，對古遺存恰當安卓原生系統態守護和呈，凸顯耕作綠色防水歷吏傳統藝術教育課，分享會出本真的田園生活風光。堅實的歷吏傳統藝術教育課人文情懷是廣富🐼林活動的目標競爭性力, 全部經濟區規模定制了幾大整體，西東北部♏是儒道佛歷吏傳統藝術教育課分享會區，南方是商用設備配套精準服務區，東西部是民俗風情歷吏傳統藝術教育課分享會區，東北部是挖出中國文物分享會區，核心區是耕作歷吏傳統藝術教育課守護區。與松江府城、倉城、泗涇古鎮等歷吏歷吏傳統藝術教育課風光區相前呼后應,已成為滬上“的深度歷吏傳統藝術教育課尋根之路”的目的意義地之六。
Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture is in the north of Songjiang New City, it spans Longyuan Road to the east, Guangfulin Road to the south, Shenjing River to the west, and North Yinze Road to the north. Covering an area of about 850 mu, it was rated as a 4A level tourist attraction in 2020, and in the same year, it was awarded the title of a comprehensive tourism demonstration area in Shanghai. It is currently the most abundant and valuable ancient cultural site for protection and development among the 29 archaeological discoveries in Shanghai. Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture was announced as Shanghai Municipal cultural relics protection point in 1977, and a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in March 2013; Zhiye Bridge was announced as Songjiang district cultural relics protection point in January 2016.
The site takes the protection zone of the archaeological site as its core and presents its original form with farming ecological culture and authentic rural scenery. The profound cult🧜ure is the core competitiveness of Guangfulin. The entire park is planned and designed with five major areas: the eastern part is the Confucian, Taoist, and Buddhist culture exhibition area, the southern part is the commercial supporting service area, the western part is the folk cultur🐓e exhibition area, the northern part is the unearthed cultural relics exhibition area, and the central part is the agricultural culture protection area. Guangfulin Country Park is built around the five core elements of “field, water, road, fores♔t, and village”, and is based on the natural ecological landscape of farming. It is composed of farm picking, fruiting scenery, wetland fishing villages, and camping bases. The block is divided into 12 areas, such as a rape flower field, green field trail, forest oxygen bar, Laolaiqing rice field, and leisurely t𝓰rail in the paddy. Shanghai Pujiang River Source Scenic Spot is the starting point of Shanghai’s mother river, Huangpu River, also known as the “Zero Kilometer of Huangpu River”. The Xietang River and Yuanxiejing Creek, which meander from Jiangsu and Zhejiang, converge here to form a delta-shaped treasure land and flow into Huangpu River through Hengliaojing Creek. At the confluence of the three rivers, the river is vast, the sailboats in the river competing for the current, the nets rising and falling by the river, the reeds on the bund swaying, the pink peaches and green willows setting each other off. These breeds the endless scenery of a water town in the south of the Yangtze River, from which the scenic spot got its name “Pujiang River Source”. The whole scenic spot is divided into two parts: the aboveground part is “Shu-Liu-Li-Yun Pagoda” and “Chunshen Hall”, while the underground part is “Water Culture Exhibition Hall”. In the scenic area, the architectural style of cantilever beam and bucket arch exude classical charm, while the glazed tiles of French windows u♐nfold modern fashion pleasure.    &💞ensp;松江歷史上科技館有的是座集收藏圖片、科學的研究、展現松江歷史上古建筑為分立式的的地方史志類歷史上科技館。根據體積1200mm2米，劃分內外第第二層。第第二層為歷史上科技館常見擺放😼設計技巧“流沙沉寶”展，該擺放設計技巧劃分“浦江晨曦”、“史河波光”、“藝海丹青”五大板塊龍頭股，科學的體系地展現了松江省市挖出和歷史上科技館圖書館收藏的的古建筑，同一時間結合在一起景色恢復原狀、發光字廣告、多新聞媒介等鋪助擺放設計技巧行為，形象直觀表示了松江中國古代以及時期當今社會生育和技術壯大成功。1樓為二次根據，不一按時地抓好常見研討會方案展出會。根據外物件倆測，由碑廊和碑亭根據碑刻展現區，東碑廊擺放設計技巧明、清松江府通告等史料碑刻，西碑廊擺放設計技巧趙孟頫、董其昌、沈荃等書法集技術碑刻。
Songjiang Museum is a local chronicles museum, where the historical relics in Songjiang are collected, researched, and exhibited. The 2-story exhibition room covers an area of 1,200 square meters. The basic exhibition of “Treasures Buried in the Sand”, which is divided into 3 portions named “Dawn of Huangpu River”, “Glisten of the Historical River” and “Painting Arts”, is on the second floor. The exhibition scientifically shows the cultural relics, which are held in the museum and unearthed in Songjiang, and reflects the achievements during the different periods of social development combined with landscape restoration, lightbox, multimedia, and other auxiliary display methods. The first floor is a temporary exhibition hall, and vꦿarious special exhibitions are held from time to time. Located on the east and west sides outside the exhibition hall, the Stele Gallery is composed of long corridors and tablet pavilions. The East Stele Gallery displays the historical materials and inscriptions of Songjiang Prefecture during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The West Stele Gallery displays the calligraphic art inscriptions of Zhao Mengfu, Dong Qichang, and Shen Quan.

     Sutra Pillar of th🎃e Tang Dynasty
    唐經幢全名“佛頂尊勝陀羅尼經幢”，座落松江區中貴州♏路西司弄43號中山初級小學校園環境內，建于唐大中13年（859年），198七年1月份被浙江省人民政府頒布為各省重要出土文物維護基層單位，是深圳位置現今最最原始的地面的古建筑。經幢質材為白灰巖，現今21級，高9.3米。幢身8面，內刻《佛頂尊勝陀羅尼經》并序，或是建幢銘。各個等級各以托座、束腰、圓形、華蓋、腰檐等內容疊成儀態柔美的經幢，每級大一部分作八角形，手工雕刻盡致，有這里的海水紋、寶相荷花、卷云、力士、巨星、觀音菩薩、飼養人及盤龍、蹲獅等。八棱八面，故又稱為為八棱碑，學名“唐經幢”，別稱“石塔”。
The Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty is located at the campus of Zhongshan Primary School, No.43 Xisi Alley, East Zhongshan Road, S🐠ongjiang. Its full name is the Usnisa Vijaya Dharani Sutra Pillar. Built in the Tang Dynasty (859) and announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit in January 1988, the pillar is the oldest ground building in Shanghai. The limestone pillar is built of 21 stone blocks with a height of 9.3 meters, engraved with Usnisa Vijaya Dharani Sutra and the preface, as well as the building inscription. All the levels are stacked in the form of brackets, corbels, columns, canopies, and waist eaves to compose a graceful sutra pillar. Most of the sutras at each level are octagonal, exquisitely carved, with sea water patterns, precious lotus flowers, cirrus clouds, warriors, heavenly kings, bodhisattvas, patronage, dragons, squatting lions, etc. With eight ridges and eight slides, it is also known as the Eight-Ridge Pillar, commonly known as the “Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty”, also known as the “Stone Pillar”.
    大倉橋
     Dacang Bridge
    大倉橋處在永豐銜道中廣東路倉橋弄南，201四年4月被發布文章為成都市藏品保護性工作單位，是一種座高10余米，跨距5෴0余米的五孔橋拱ꦇ大石橋。橋前身永豐，因橋南為松江府漕運倉城，故又名大倉橋。現為成都中南部知名的的明朝大石橋其一。
Located at Cangqiao Lane South, West Zhongshan Road in Yongfeng Sub-district, Dacang Bridge was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014. The five-arch stone bridge spans 50 meters long and 10 meters high over the river. It was formerly known as Yongfeng Bridge and later named Dacang Bridge for there was Water Transport Warehouse City of Songjiang Prefecture to the south of the bridge. It is one of the famous big stone bridges of the Ming D🌌ynasty in Shanghai.
    清真寺
     Mosque
    松𒁃江清真寺靠近岳陽城市馬路邊橋居委會缸甏巷75號，1980年八月份被頒布為滬市藏品自我保護基層單位，是滬的地方較早的伊斯蘭教佛教寺廟，建于元至正末年（1341年時間內—136七年），初名真教寺。古代時段過程多少次修補和改擴建，因為，今天的清真寺原有元代時段的搭建物設計調性，又有古代幾代的搭建物設計蘇州標志性。主要搭建物設計有個殿、窯殿、穿廊，另有南、北課堂，邦克門等，這之中窯殿和邦克門幾處最具該寺搭建物設計蘇州標志性。
Located at No.75 Gangbeng Alley, Maluqiao Neighborhood Committee in Yueyang Sub-district, Songjiang Mosque was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in August 1980. As one of the oldest🎶 mosques in Shanghai, Songjiang Mosque was built during 1341-1368, also named Zhenjiao Mosque. After many renovations and expansions during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the mosque today features the style of construction of the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. The main buildings include Central Hall, Kiln Hall, Crossing Corridor, North and South Speech Hall, and Bangke Chamber. Among them, the Kiln Hall and Bangke Chamber can best represent the traits of the Mosque.
    西林禪寺
     Xilin Temple
    西林禪寺，又稱“西林精舍”，又稱崇恩寺，處于松江區中林中路66六號，初建于唐咸通13年（872），僧睿增建于南宋咸淳元年（1265），到現在為止多個1150年來時間，是松江區佛法促進會的之處地，為西安佛法世界十大森林其一。明洪武🐭2年（1382年）新建，明正統英宗清朝皇帝敕封“西林大清禪寺”。大雄寶殿后有塊塔，宋名崇恩塔，明易為圓應塔，供奉一是代祖師圓應居士舍利，屬稱“西林塔”，1982年11月被頒布為西安市中國古物防護公司。塔身七層八面，磚木的結構，塔高46.5米，到現在為止仍為西安各地最高的人且典藏中國古物比較多的一間古塔。
Located at No.666 Middle Zhongshan Road, Songjiang District, Xilin Temple, formerly known as “Xilin Jingshe”, also known as Chong’en Temple, was originally built in the Tang Dynasty (872), a monk named Rui extended the temple in the Southern Song Dynasty (1265). With a history of more than 1,150 years, Xilin Temple is the location of the Buddhist Association of Songjiang District and one of the top ten Buddhist monasteries in Shang꧑hai. The temple was reconstructed in the Ming Dynasty (1387), an emperor named it as Xilin Temple of Ming. Behind the main hall, there stands a 46.5-meter-high, 7-story octagonal pagoda of brick and wood structure, which was called Chong’en Pagoda during the Song Dynasty, then named Yuanying Pagoda during Ming Dynasty, offering the Sarira of its first ancestor, Zen Master Yuanying, also well-known as Xilin Pagoda. Announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in September 1982, this pagoda is the tallest ancient pagoda in Shanghai with the most collection of cultural relics.
